1. About us

Goan Tourister (“we”, “us”) is a tour business based in Panjim, Goa. Through goantourister.com we offer boat rides, cruises and tour packages in Goa. Some trips are run by our partner boat operators; we arrange your booking with them.

2. Booking

• Choose a package and send us your booking request on WhatsApp, or pay online where this option is available.
• Your booking is confirmed only when we send you a confirmation with the package, date, number of persons and amount paid.
• Please check these details and tell us straight away if anything is wrong.
• Bookings must be made by an adult (18 years or older).

3. Prices and payment

• All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and are shown on each package page, per person or per group as stated there.
• The price confirmed at the time of booking is the final price for that booking.
• Online payments are processed securely by our payment partner, Razorpay. We never see or store your card number, CVV or UPI PIN.

4. Cancellations and refunds

Our Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to every booking. In short: cancel 1 hour or more before boarding time and get 92% back; less than 1 hour before, 50% back; no refund for no-shows; and a 100% refund (or a new date) if we cancel the trip.

5. Booking confirmation and delivery (no shipping)

We sell travel services, not physical goods, so nothing is shipped. Your booking confirmation is sent to you on WhatsApp (or by SMS or email) as soon as your booking is confirmed, usually within minutes. The service is delivered on your booked date at the boarding point shown on the package page.

6. On the day of your trip

• Reach the boarding point before the reporting time. If you arrive after the boat has left, the booking counts as a no-show.
• Carry a valid government photo ID for every guest.
• Follow the crew’s instructions at all times, including wearing a life jacket when asked.
• The crew may refuse boarding to anyone who is drunk, unwell or behaving unsafely. This counts as a no-show.
• Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
• Alcohol is allowed only where the package says so, and only for guests of legal drinking age. Drugs are never allowed.
• Each package page lists extra terms for that trip. These also apply to your booking.

7. Weather, safety and changes

Trips depend on weather, tide and safety conditions, and on orders from the government and port authorities. Timings or routes may change, or a trip may be cancelled, to keep everyone safe. If we cancel, you get a full refund or a new date, as set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

8. Personal belongings

Please take care of your belongings during the trip. We are not responsible for the loss of or damage to personal items.

9. Our responsibility

We take reasonable care to arrange safe, good-quality trips. To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking.

10. Photos and videos

Photos and videos on this website show our boats and trips, but the exact boat, decoration, food or views on your day may differ.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts in Goa.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page on the day you book applies to your booking.
